IO Interactive released Extended Operations, a free update for 007 First Light, on October 1, 2026. It adds New Game+, a harder 00 difficulty, five TacSim missions, Photo Mode, new weapons and outfits, and several combat changes.
New Game+ and 00 difficulty
Complete the campaign on any difficulty to unlock New Game+. You can replay from the beginning or start from a completed checkpoint, keeping outfits and gadgets you’ve already unlocked.
New Game+ also unlocks 00, a tougher difficulty. Enemies react faster, tougher guard variants appear, and Bond can’t use gadgets while in a guard’s line of sight. Parry and sidestep timing is tighter, combat uses two-hit kills, and Bond earns less agency during fights. Custom outfits and gadgets are also available in Easy, Normal and Hard New Game+ replays.
Five TacSim missions, from Slovakia to Vietnam
Extended Operations adds five TacSim missions: four Valhalla Protocol driving challenges in the Slovakian Mountains and one mission at The Pearl resort in Vietnam.

Photo Mode, weapons and combat changes
Photo Mode lets you hide the interface, pose characters and adjust the camera, lens, brightness, filters, backgrounds and logos. TacSim missions also gain access to the campaign’s full arsenal.
The Intel Shop adds two weapons and three outfits. Weapon-handling animations are more detailed, and enemies can now throw Bond over ledges.
