Andrés Borghi is an Argentine film director and multimedia artist (from actor, animator to video game designer), known for the short films Otakus and Working Day (winner of an award in New Zealand given by Peter Jackson himself). This time Borghi presents his new short film with Alexia, where he returns to the horror genre after so many years of comedy and action. The plot introduces us to Franco, a young man obsessed with Alexia's Facebook, his deceased ex-girlfriend, on her birthday.
The Plot
Although Alexia has been dead for some time, having committed a tragic suicide, her profile on social networks remains active and her loved ones leave affectionate messages. Convinced by his current girlfriend, Franco removes Alexia from his contact list to get over his past. What he didn't expect was that the computer starts to fail when removing her, setting off a series of strange events that will make Franco realize that a simple click is not enough to leave his past behind. The short was filmed in 2013 and participated in several festivals around the world, winning several awards.
Released on February 1 on YouTube, Alexia caused an enormous repercussion on social networks and at the moment already has more than 160,000 views.
