ULA lists Vulcan Leo 1 for Friday, November 13, 2026, with 40 Amazon Leo satellites scheduled to launch from Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The mission is assigned to a Vulcan VC6L. ULA’s mission listing gives the schedule and payload details.
The Vulcan VC6L configuration
ULA lists a Centaur V optimized for low Earth orbit, six side-mounted solid rocket boosters and a 70-foot payload fairing for the Vulcan VC6L.
Amazon Leo reported that integration was complete
Amazon Leo said all 40 satellites had been integrated with Vulcan at its Vertical Integration Facility-A (VIF-A), and that final processing was underway. The company’s planned launch was pending range approval, according to its announcement.
The first of 38 planned Vulcan missions
ULA calls Vulcan Leo 1 the first of 38 Vulcan missions planned for Amazon Leo. It also cites eight earlier Amazon constellation deployment missions using Atlas V.
This is separate from LE-04, an Amazon Leo mission involving 36 satellites staged at Kourou, which NeoTeo covered earlier.
