AMD’s Q3 2026 revenue growth was reported at 45% year over year, compared with Intel’s 21%. Intel still reported the larger quarterly total: $16.513 billion, versus AMD’s $13.38 billion, according to Yahoo Finance. Benzinga reported AMD’s growth rate; Intel’s October 29 results give its revenue and growth figures.
Growth rate and total revenue tell different stories
The reported growth rates put AMD 24 percentage points ahead. But a faster percentage increase did not mean higher Q3 revenue: Intel’s reported total was larger. The AMD figures were reported by Yahoo Finance and Benzinga; Intel’s figures come from its results release.
| Company | Q3 2026 revenue | Year-over-year revenue growth | Q4 revenue guidance range | Q4 guidance midpoint |
| AMD | $13.38 billion | 45% | $17 billion ±3% ($16.49 billion–$17.51 billion) | $17 billion |
| Intel | $16.513 billion | 21% | $15.0 billion–$16.0 billion | $15.5 billion |
The Q3 figures are reported results. For Q4, Intel’s release gives a $15.0 billion to $16.0 billion range, while AMD’s $17 billion midpoint and range were reported by Wccftech. Those Q4 amounts are guidance.
Data center results come from differently named segments
AMD’s Data Center revenue was reported at $8.5 billion, up 97% year over year. Intel reported $7.3 billion for its Data Center and AI (DCAI) segment, up 78%. The segment labels differ, so these figures describe each company’s own reporting categories.
Intel’s release says segment revenue includes intersegment transactions. Its reconciliation lists $6.3 billion in intersegment eliminations on the way to consolidated revenue. Segment figures therefore do not simply add up to Intel’s consolidated sales.
