AMD’s Adrenalin 26.10.1 release notes, updated October 20, list FSR 4.1 support for Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics products, Ryzen AI Max 300 and 400 Series processors, and Ryzen AI 9 300 and 400 Series processors. The driver’s desktop compatibility list also names RX 6600 Series products.

The driver supports Windows 10 64-bit version 21H2 and later, and Windows 11 version 21H2 and later. AMD notes that operating-system support can vary by Radeon product.

Which PC hardware AMD lists

AMD names Radeon RX 6000 Series as a family for FSR 4.1 support. For Ryzen systems, its list specifies both the 300 and 400 Series of Ryzen AI Max and Ryzen AI 9 processors. These entries are in Adrenalin 26.10.1, the Windows driver updated October 20.

The listing arrived ahead of an early-2027 RX 6000 support window that Tom’s Hardware said AMD had previously promised.

Handhelds use a separate driver path

AMD’s platform announcement also names gaming handhelds featuring Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, Ryzen Z2 Extreme, and Ryzen Z2 A processors. The Adrenalin notes say the package does not support gaming handheld devices; AMD directs users to the device maker for device-specific drivers. That is the key distinction for handheld owners: the platform announcement and the PC driver package have different update routes.

What the RX 6900 XT test found

Tom’s Hardware reported about a 13% performance cost for FSR 4 compared with FSR 3 in one Cyberpunk 2077 test on a Radeon RX 6900 XT, at 4K output with FSR Balanced. That figure applies to the reported setup, rather than serving as a general estimate for RX 6000 cards or other games.

Xbox support is coming soon

AMD Gaming’s English-language announcement presents the FSR 4.1 platform expansion, including forthcoming Xbox Series X|S support.

AMD described FSR 4.1 support for Xbox Series X|S as coming soon. That is a separate platform announcement from the PC support listed in Adrenalin 26.10.1.
