Anatronica is an excellent platform for learning human anatomy visually. With this environment, you can view the skeleton and examine every bone, muscle, or organ in detail, and get advanced information about each selection. What's interesting is the ability to observe human anatomy in 3D from multiple viewpoints, allowing you to learn every corner of our body in a very graphic way. The download is a bit slow, but once installed, the environment works perfectly, although it consumes a lot of system resources.
Installation
When you open the download file, you'll see two folders: one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. Choose the bits of your operating system, and then you'll find two folders, one with female anatomy and one with male. To finish, you'll need to install the file Anatronica Pro 64bit Female.msi.
Configuration
At this point, you set the resolution, graphics quality, and monitor. Then click "Play" and choose the language (it supports several languages, including Spanish). When the platform interface starts, you'll be amazed by the quality and detail of the graphics. At the top left, you'll find camera controls to move the skeleton; at the bottom, you'll set the skeleton hierarchy: just bones, organs, bones and muscles, etc.
Exploring the 3D Environment
With the controls, you can zoom, change the camera angle, and move the skeleton. If you need information on any part of the human body, select the bone, muscle, or organ and click "Detail" or "Image" (on the right side) to get textual and graphical information about the selection.
Learning and Quiz
The program is truly a great learning platform for the human body, thanks to the interaction you can have with the 3D skeleton, and also to the complementary information on human anatomy. If you want to go a little further, you'll find a very interesting quiz-style game.
Availability
The program has a more complete commercial version, but from our testing, the free version is more than enough. You'll find it on Windows, Mac OS X, and iOS and Android devices.
