If the wait between the third season and the new manga volumes of Shingeki no Kyojin is killing you and you don't know what to do, don't worry — soon you'll be able to relive the dense action battles with the return of the Titans in Attack on Titan 2.
A Story That Continues
The story of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin in their fight against the Titans remains more relevant than ever. The success of the Attack on Titan manga and anime gave rise to a double live-action film and an animated one (recently released), as well as two video games: Humanity in Chains (2013) and Attack on Titan (2016). If you liked that last game, then get excited because its sequel, Attack on Titan 2, arrives in two weeks. The story continues where the previous title ended, adapting both the second season of the anime and additional manga volumes.

The gameplay of Attack on Titan 2 puts you in control of a character you create at the beginning of the game. You have a complex character editor where you can customize gender, features, voice, and even clothing and accessories. Once your character is created, the adventure begins as you join the military as a Scout, whose goal is to defeat Titans in large, open areas. To do that, you have the three-dimensional maneuver gear that lets you move at full speed through the air to attack the colossal enemies.
New Features and Release
Among the new features of Attack on Titan 2 are a two-player cooperative story mode, exploration missions for four players, and a competitive four-versus-four mode in which the team that eliminates the most Titans before time runs out wins. But the best part is that in multiplayer there will also be a mode where you can play as the Titans. The game once again features cel-shaded graphics that visually resemble the characters and settings of the anime. Attack on Titan 2 is being developed by Omega Force and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One starting March 20, 2018.
