Sometimes the problem isn't lack of skill, but the chronic limitations of the device we use, and for those cases, Google launched AutoDraw. Start drawing, and its artificial intelligence will help you replace your creation with a much more polished design.
Despite all the advances, drawing on a computer or mobile device is still quite uncomfortable. And when I say “drawing”, I mean replicating the same mechanics we apply with a pencil and a sheet of paper. Traditional pointer controls (mouse, trackball, touchpad) are very limited, touchscreens lack the necessary precision, and few are willing to buy something like a Wacom or a stylus-compatible system for casual drawing. This situation is even more critical on smartphones, whose average screen size is about five inches. According to Google, the solution is to use artificial intelligence, and its result is AutoDraw.
AutoDraw is based on the technology that Mountain View used with the Quick, Draw! portal, that guesses our drawings. All we have to do is choose the AutoDraw function in the interface and start drawing. As the artificial intelligence interprets our drawing, it will present top alternatives of much higher quality that can serve as replacements. If the drawing is too bad, AutoDraw will likely make mistakes with its recommendations, but in most cases there will be at least one option that fits perfectly.
Once you finish the drawing you can share it with anyone, or download a copy. Google suggests creating cards, greetings, invitations, and much more. The best part is that AutoDraw has no external dependencies. It works directly on compatible browsers, regardless of device format or operating system.
