These results come from independent laboratory testing. The AZZA PSAZ-750G is a functional 750W ATX 3.1 power supply, but it is not an easy recommendation. It fits a mid-range system whose graphics card draws under 450W through the native 12V-2x6 cable, and its 12V regulation is notably strong. The trade-offs are substantial: the unit is hardwired rather than modular, its 80 PLUS Gold label narrowly misses the 50% load threshold in testing, full-load heat reaches 94°C in a roughly 45°C environment, and the warranty lasts two years.

In short: buy it for a suitably modest build and a genuinely low price—not for the badge on the box or for a high-power graphics card.

The short verdict: competent, but narrowly useful

The PSAZ-750G makes sense when three conditions line up: your system is in the mid-range, the graphics card draws less than 450W through the native 12V-2x6 connector, and you can live with permanently attached cables. Its electrical behavior is functional, with 0.9% 12V regulation and correctly triggered over-current, over-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections.

That is the good news. The less convenient news is that the unit offers little room for enthusiast expectations. It has a two-year warranty, the cable harness cannot be removed, and the thermal and acoustic results worsen sharply under sustained hot-box load. If you want verified Gold certification, modular cabling, a longer warranty or quieter operation under heavy load, a more expensive alternative is the sensible route.

The PSAZ-750G is rated for 750W total output and for full power at 40°C ambient. Its packaging identifies it as ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 Ready. The chassis measures 150 × 86 × 140mm, and the 12V rail is rated at 62A, or 744W.

The important distinction is between total PSU output and the rating printed on the graphics-card cable. The unit includes one native 12V-2x6 connector marked 450W. That makes the connector rating the practical ceiling for a GPU using that cable; a 750W label on the power supply does not turn the cable into an unrestricted high-power connection.

The cable set is hardwired. You get one 24-pin ATX connector, two EPS 4+4-pin CPU connectors, three PCIe 8-pin connectors, six SATA connectors and two Molex connectors, but unused leads remain attached to the unit. Cable management will therefore be less tidy than with a fully modular supply, particularly in a compact case.

A rear ECO button controls the hybrid fan mode. Efficiency versus the Gold threshold

The box carries an 80 PLUS Gold logo, but the measured results sit just below the Gold requirement at 50% load. At 230 VAC, the PSAZ-750G reached 91.8%, compared with the 92.0% Gold threshold. At 115 VAC, it reached 89.9%, compared with the 90.0% requirement.

Those are small misses—0.2 and 0.1 percentage points—but they matter because the Gold label describes a specific efficiency class. The unit averaged 90.6% across the nominal load range at 230 VAC and 88.6% at 115 VAC. The practical conclusion is straightforward: this is near-Gold performance in the measured conditions, not a result to treat as a clean Gold certification claim.

Efficiency also changes with operating conditions. The 230 VAC results at 20%, 50% and 100% load were 90.1%, 91.8% and 90.2%; at 115 VAC, they were 88.7%, 89.9% and 87.1%. Do not read the logo as a guarantee that every load point will meet the Gold target.

Noise and heat change the picture

At 25°C ambient, the fan remained stopped through approximately 300W, creating a useful fanless window for light and moderate workloads. At sustained full load in the same room-temperature test, noise reached about 42dB(A), while the heatsink temperature stayed between 66°C and 68°C.

The hot-box result is much less comfortable. With ambient temperature at roughly 45°C—about 5°C above the unit's 40°C rating—full-load noise rose to 52.2dB(A) and heatsink temperature reached 94°C. The power supply became the loudest component in a typical mid-tower during that test.

So, is it quiet? At light-to-moderate load and room temperature, it can be. Under sustained heavy load in a warm case, the answer changes. The fanless window is useful, but it should not be mistaken for silent operation across an entire gaming session.

Electrical quality and internal compromises

The strongest result is 12V regulation at 0.9% across the 20–100% load range. The 3.3V and 5V rails each measured 1.4%, comfortably within the ATX ±5% window. Maximum ripple measured 52mV on 12V, 26mV on 3.3V and 28mV on 5V; the 12V result is below the 120mV ATX limit, while the minor rails remain below their 50mV limits.

The tested protection circuits—OCP, OVP, OPP and SCP—triggered correctly. The over-power protection point was approximately 130% of rated output, or roughly 975W, before shutdown in the overload test.

Inside, the design uses a half-bridge LLC resonant primary stage and DC-to-DC converters for the minor rails. The main capacitor is a 560µF, 420V Ltec HP-series electrolytic rated at 105°C, with Ltec electrolytics and APAQ polymer capacitors on the secondary side. Those component details help explain the budget positioning, but they do not by themselves establish a service-life prediction.

Should you buy the AZZA PSAZ-750G?

Choose it if your graphics card stays below the 450W rating printed on the native 12V-2x6 cable, your build is mid-range, and the price is meaningfully below better-equipped alternatives. The strong 12V regulation, working protections and approximately 300W fanless window are real advantages.

Skip it when your priorities are equally clear: a high-power GPU using more than 450W through that connector, a fully modular cable system, sustained quiet operation in a warm case, a longer warranty or a currently verified Gold certification claim. The $78 asking price cited for the tested unit makes the compromises easier to accept; at a much higher price, the value argument weakens quickly.

The AZZA PSAZ-750G is not a disaster, but neither is it a bargain you can evaluate from “750W” and “Gold” alone. Match the cable limit to the GPU, account for the fixed harness and decide whether the two-year warranty and hot-load behavior fit your build. That is where this power supply either makes sense—or quietly leaves the shortlist.
