TransferCalculator is a free online Solar System simulator that lets you calculate interplanetary transfers, interlunar, and interstellar transfers. If you are a dreamer and ask yourself: What is the right route to travel to the Moon, Mars, or beyond? How long will it take to get to Jupiter or Venus? Now, with the platform you will find the answers to your space questions.
Besides calculating space transfers and observing the simulation, the environment shows you the mathematical calculations and other data of interest (all simulations are customizable).

When you open the TransferCalculator web page and click on “TRY IT OUT!”, the platform gives you three calculator modes:
- Full Powered: Full simulation version with mathematical calculations and graphics.
- 3D Stereoscopic: SBS stereoscopic mode for 3D VR devices.
- Low Resolution: Low-resolution simulation, ideal for low-power computers.
Its interface is divided into three sections: the simulator in the central part. On the left you will find the panel to configure the central body of the simulation, the speed and time of the simulation, and the screen controls to show and hide additional data such as an asteroid, orbits, etc. On the right panel, you can select the type of transfer.
Interplanetary Transfer
You can select the origin and destination planets and the route between them. Then, to get the calculation, click on the “Calculate Transfer” button and the platform will offer you the fastest transfer route. The tool will show all the mathematical data such as speed, distance, time, etc. Additionally, you can enable the PorkChop graph and aerobrake to get these calculations in the simulation.
Interlunar Transfer
The only difference between this option and the “Interplanetary Transfer” is that you can calculate the transfer between the moon of one planet and the moon of another planet. Then all the options are the same.
Interstellar Transfer
With this option you can calculate the transfer route between interstellar bodies beyond our Solar System. Besides showing the route, for example, between Earth and Sirius, Epsilon Eridani, Tau Ceti, Polaris, or Betelgeuse, the utility also shows the distance in light years, and you can accelerate the simulation in light years.
