And since we know that 52% of users will access our website via mobile, we need to test the web in an environment for these devices. That's why we will tell you about “Chromenu”, a mini web browser for Windows that lets you test web pages in mobile environments.
After downloading the ZIP and running the file “Chromenu.exe”, the web browser will automatically launch (it has limited tabs). To open a web page, you need to click the “+” button, enter the URL, and then click “OK”. The platform only allows you to work with five web pages. If you need to open another site, you'll have to close a page and load a new one.
To remove a website from the list, you need to click the “.” icon. Then, from the pop-up window, you just need to click the “Delete” button to have the page removed from the list.
Although we can adapt Chrome and Firefox to view web pages in their mobile versions, Chromenu does not come to compete with these two powerful browsers, but rather to offer a service to view websites in mobile version on Windows and Linux.
