Citrio is a web browser with great features and a very good response time both for browsing and for its add-ons. Its main differences from the most used browsers are security and its content download methods. Its design and functionality are very similar to Google Chrome, mainly in its tab-based navigation.
Security and Privacy
One of the main advantages of the browser is the security and protection of personal data, because the platform does not store any user data (browsing or email registration) and, at the security level, its automatic update engine and its phishing and malware protection make it a safe option for browsing the Internet.
News and Downloads
From the 'NewsHub' icon you can access the latest news, which will be displayed courtesy of a window that facilitates navigation.
When downloading content, the browser will synchronize very well with your torrent client. This way you can download what you want directly from the browser without needing to integrate or download another application. (The utility includes a download accelerator that speeds up downloads by up to five times.)
You can download videos from the 'Video Downloader' icon, from which you can download all videos (in HD quality) found on a web page with just one click. (It also includes a video capture tool.)
A Solid Alternative
Citrio is an excellent option against the most used web browsers on the market (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox) and offers some very useful features that other browsers lack. It is a free web browser available for Windows and Mac OS X.
