How to Install CloudReady OS

You need two computers: the old one and a newer one. We'll do all the work on the newer one first. This computer must have an active internet connection and USB ports to connect a device. Now open the CloudReady OS website and download the USB maker for your operating system. Once the installation finishes, all necessary files will be downloaded so you can run the operating system from the USB device.

Now connect the USB device to the old computer you want to convert into a Chromebook. Turn it on and let the OS boot from the USB drive (you'll have to select USB as the boot device from the BIOS). The only things you'll need to do are set the language, connect to WiFi, and sign in with your Google account.
