Docspal is a platform that lets you convert PSD files to JPG in batch, but it goes a step further with several extra formats to customize your conversion. We'll also recommend another tool that lets you separate the layers of a PSD into individual JPG files.
Batch conversion with Docspal
The Docspal environment is very easy to use, and you can do everything with a few clicks. However, for it to work well, you'll need a powerful and stable internet connection. When you visit the Docspal website, you'll see two large tabs: one to convert files and another to view files in your browser. We'll focus on the Convert Files option.
The service lets you convert up to five PSD files to JPG, and each file limit is 50 MB (as you can see, the limit is quite large). For converting files, the platform lets you drag and drop files into its interface, but you'll have to drag them one by one (in our tests, bulk dragging didn't work).
Then you'll need to select the output format for each file (JPG, BMP, GIF, ICO, JP2, PNG, JPEG, and TGA). The environment lets you send download links to any email address.
After completing these three steps, all you have to do is click the 'CONVERT FILES' button and wait for the PSD to JPG conversion (or any other format you selected) to complete; in our test, the conversion was very fast.
When the conversion finishes, the files appear at the bottom in the new format for you to download or view in another browser tab. In our tests, some PSD files gave conversion errors in the batch method, but converting them individually succeeded.
Separate PSD layers with Zamzar
If you want each layer of a PSD file to become an individual JPG file, we recommend using the online environment Zamzar.
Docspal is a free platform that works in all web browsers. Although it has a commercial service, its free service works perfectly.
