Pearl Abyss says the Crimson Desert Enhanced console trial lasts five hours, can be used once per account, and has different end dates: January 7, 2027, for Xbox and October 29, 2027, for PlayStation. The publisher’s notice sets out these terms.
Who can play, and when each trial ends
| Platform | Access stated by Pearl Abyss | Publisher-listed end date |
| PlayStation | PlayStation Plus Premium or Deluxe subscribers | October 29, 2027 |
| Xbox | All Xbox players, without a paid Xbox subscription | January 7, 2027 |
Both console trials give each account one five-hour session. The timer cannot be restarted after it runs out. Progress carries over if you buy the full game, but the trial includes the base game only, not the Charting the Unknown DLC.
The earlier browser demo was a separate session
On September 2, 2026, Luke Stephens CLIPS published a demonstration of a separate 20-minute browser-streamed session. It showed Crimson Desert running through Twitch and Amazon GameLift Streams without a local download.
