DISM GUI Services: Run Long Commands with One Click

In this article we will list free DISM GUI services so that Windows can execute long DISM commands with a single click. The mentioned programs will offer you some DISM commands in different tabs or buttons that you can run with a simple click (SFC command, WMI file mounting, etc.). DISM comes from "Deployment Image Servicing and Management Tool", serves to mount and manage Windows images, install or uninstall services, among other things, and is one of the integrated utilities included in Windows.

With the listed environments you will be able to perform the aforementioned actions and add other Windows features. We will also mention a powerful suite to decompile Java bytecode.

DISM GUI

DISM GUI is one of the best programs to execute various DISM commands. From its interface you will find different tabs with different functions:

Build a WMI file and then install features to it.
Manage drivers and their packages.

After building a WMI file, you will be able to see the tool's information and, if you have an MSP file, you can even see its product code and patch code. The environment has several tabs for advanced developers, both for driver management, package management and feature management. If you are not versed in these services, we recommend not manipulating them. The platform is portable, free and available for Windows operating systems.

Dism-Gui

Dism-Gui is another good free program for Windows that allows you to execute some DISM commands. The platform is very good for system administrators, because you will find functions like: SFC Scan, CAB Install, Cleanup, Restore, etc. Its use is very simple, if you have an "install.esd" or "install.wim" file you can use the environment to install features, call the SFC scan and CAB installation, etc. Some individual commands you will find on the platform are: Check, Check, Restore, Analyze, Cleanup, SFC Scan and Cab Install.

Two of the options we highlight are:

Restore which corresponds to the RestoreHealth command: There errors are searched for and automatically repaired.
Cab Install: This function allows you to quickly and easily install a "Cab" update. You just have to select the "cab" file in the opening window and then it will be installed.

JD Project

We will finish with Java Decompiler Project, a suite to decompile and analyze the "bytecode" of Java in version 5 and later.

JD-GUI extracts the source code contained in precompiled classes and JAR packages (Java classes: Libraries compiled in bytecode). To use it, all you have to do is drag the files to the environment interface. The code will be loaded in tabs with line numbering and syntax highlighting. A class tree will be expanded in the side panel to facilitate navigation.
JD-Eclipse is a plugin for the Eclipse platform that allows you to display all Java sources during your debugging process, even if you don't have all of them.
