easyJet announced its first onboard Wi-Fi service on October 26, 2026, partnering with SpaceX’s Starlink to equip Airbus A320, A320neo and A321neo aircraft. Installations are planned to start in the first half of 2027 and finish by early 2028.
What passengers are expected to do online
easyJet says passengers will be able to browse the web, stream video and play games on their own devices. The airline also plans to let passengers use its app and website to check flight status and find destination information, including weather, transportation and tourism details. Ordering from the onboard menu at a seat is a possible use, not a confirmed launch feature.
How access is expected to work
In a response reported by Business Traveller, easyJet said Starlink would manage access and connectivity would be optional. The airline said it would share more details, including pricing, as the first aircraft are equipped.
The earlier discussion about deal economics
Reuters reported on January 29, 2026, that easyJet CEO Kenton Jarvis had said the economics of a Starlink deal did not then work for the airline.
