A healthy habit when distributing files across different media is to create a list or index with the name and exact location of each one. Many projects present this information in TXT or HTML format, but if you decide to do this on your own, the truth is that Windows isn't going to help you. Fortunately, there are solutions such as FilelistCreator, which can create file lists in a few clicks, with support for a wide range of filters and secondary columns.
It's a 'minor' detail that often goes unnoticed: the file index. Many programs are relatively simple and don't justify its creation, but there's always that project with dozens of subfolders and configuration files everywhere. Under the "Table Structure" category, FilelistCreator allows us to modify the order of files and columns, add additional information, and define groupings.
