There is a name that keeps showing up in Western science fiction circles: Liu Cixin, the Chinese writer behind the Dìqiú Wǎngshì trilogy.
His first novel is coming to streaming via 3 Body Problem, a Netflix adaptation created by David Benioff, D.B. Weiss and Alexander Woo. If the first two names sound familiar, it's because they're the same ones who adapted Game of Thrones. The trailer looks really good, but I still remember what these guys did with the eighth season.
