Let's not fool ourselves: every young “under-12” who plays Minecraft is going to (try to) drag their parents to the movies to see this live-action adaptation. Why? Because there are more than 160 million active players in the franchise, and Warner Bros. is going to bombard us with advertising and marketing.
Now, Jack Black as Steve was almost inevitable (let's be honest, the alternative was Chris Pratt), but if you're wondering about Jason Momoa… the truth is he not only acts but is also part of the production team.
