Many believe M. Night Shyamalan has lost his touch after some high-profile failures, but his recent projects haven't been that terrible (Knock at the Cabin comes to mind), and what we have here today is not an original story from him: his official role is limited to production, and direction falls to his daughter Ishana.
The Watchers shows us Dakota Fanning lost in an Irish forest, but when she seeks refuge, she ends up finding much more than she imagines, including certain... things... that wish to observe her closely.
The Watchers is based on the novel by A.M. Shine, and will arrive in theaters on June 5.
