The Big Lead lists nine Vault locations for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 5, with directions from named landmarks. Its guide also says Vault Keys can come from any chest or from an eliminated player who carried one, and that a key can open a Vault other than the one it points to.
Where the nine listed Vaults are
The Big Lead places the Vaults at these nine landmarks:
| Landmark | Listed Vault position |
| Rubber Resort | On the beach southwest of Rubber Resort |
| Loot Lagoon | Behind the waterfall south of Loot Lagoon |
| Fortune’s Fort | Inside Fortune’s Fort |
| Lantern Landing | In the hill east of Lantern Landing |
| Cursed Cavern | In a building west of Cursed Cavern, at the edge of the purple-tree biome |
| $.$. Rocky | Inside $.$. Rocky |
| Windmill Village | In the cliff northeast of Windmill Village |
| Loguetown | In the southern part of Loguetown |
| Busy Bay | On the beach of Busy Bay’s southern island |
How the reported Vault Key works
The Big Lead says Vault Keys are part of the standard loot pool and may appear in any chest. A player carrying a key may also drop it when eliminated.
A key points the map toward the nearest Vault, but the guide says it can open a different one. The marked Vault is therefore a direction, not the only destination for that key.
What loot the guide lists inside a Vault
The Big Lead describes three Rare Chests and one Sprite Chest in each Vault, with possible additional gold, bonus items or materials.
