Fortnite’s Pirate Shop Token reportedly gives players 14 days after activation to claim eligible items from the Item Shop for free. The offer is a limited claim window, and the reported terms exclude some shop content.

What the Pirate Shop Token reportedly offers

A Fortnite character faces a pirate-themed storefront beneath a large Spanish access notification.

Forbes and LevelUp reported on November 1, 2026, that the token opens two claim opportunities, one associated with Pirate Shop 2026 and another with Pirate Shop 2027. Each activation reportedly allows free claims of eligible Item Shop items for 14 days.

The notification reads “ENCONTRASTE ACCESO A LA TIENDA PIRATA,” or “You found access to the Pirate Shop.” It appears in Fortnite: Treasure Hunters, which LevelUp reported began on November 1, 2026. NeoTeo’s earlier preview of Fortnite: Treasure Hunters covered the mini-season’s scheduled start.

Which shop items may be excluded

The reported benefit covers eligible Item Shop goods, not every purchase in Fortnite. Forbes lists real-money offers, Battle Pass levels, gifting, and sidekicks a player already owns among the exclusions. LevelUp also names real-money bundles and Fortnite Crew. Those are examples from the outlets’ accounts of the terms.

Search tips creators recommend

Forbes reported that the token can come from Treasure Hunters treasure chests in Battle Royale. LevelUp says a find is shared with party members, so squad play can benefit the group if one player gets the token.

Fortnite creator SinSangre recommends equipping Fortunate Cat-Zoro to reveal nearby chests, planning routes with Fortnite.GG, and starting a new match when the storm has advanced and fewer chests remain. These are search and time-management suggestions, not a guarantee of finding the token. Creator Eiva07 says ordinary, legendary, and spirit chests count, and that breaking chests with weapons, pickaxes, structures, or vehicles still counts.
