Premium access and the first expansion start January 21
Premium Edition owners are scheduled to get early access starting January 21. The first Premium Expansion is also scheduled for that date, bringing a new location, new gameplay and additional cars. A separate free content update is planned for all players alongside the PS5 release and first expansion.
PS5 modes, cross-play and price
Forza Horizon 6’s PS5 version has a Quality mode at 4K and 30 FPS and a Performance mode at 60 FPS. Cross-play lets PS5 players play online with people on Xbox Series X|S and Steam. Cross-save can carry progress between those platforms when players sign in with the same Microsoft account.
Online multiplayer requires a separately sold PlayStation Plus membership; solo and offline features are available without one. The US Standard Edition is listed at $69.99.
