Your goal is to survive in a 6 × 5 × 8 three-dimensional grid. Steer the triangular craft clear of square enemies that enter from behind and pursue you: a collision ends the run. Fire forward or backward to take them out. Hitting several enemies with one shot chains the hits and raises your score multiplier. Enemies spawn and move faster as time passes, steadily making survival more demanding.

A 48-hour game with stereoscopic support

Gridfighter 3D was made for OrcaJam 2017 and, according to its creator, was coded almost entirely in 48 hours. It was developed by DESiRE and Porta2Note, with Porta2Note also credited as publisher. One distinctive feature is stereoscopic support for the Forte VFX1 and Oculus Rift DK1, though the game remains playable without VR.
