How to play Mass Destruction

To play Mass Destruction online, wait for the game to prepare, then press Play to start the 1997 MS-DOS edition in your browser. On the keyboard, the arrow keys drive the tank; Z and C turn the turret, X fires, Ctrl selects the previous weapon, and Alt selects the next.

Drive through arctic, desert, and urban mission areas, destroy enemy forces, and complete objectives before reaching the extraction point. You can demolish buildings and walls and blast trees, while facing tanks, helicopters, aircraft, and infantry. Match your weapon to the target: guided missiles, for instance, are useful against helicopters.

A tank and a destructible battlefield

Developed by NMS Software Ltd. and published for DOS by BMG Interactive Entertainment, Mass Destruction was released in 1997. Its distinctive touch is how much of the environment can be wrecked as you fight through missions. This is the MS-DOS edition, distinct from the later console versions.
