How to play Perils of Treasure Mountain

To play Perils of Treasure Mountain online, wait for the game to prepare, then press Play to launch the MS-DOS edition (2017) in your browser. Move with the cursor keys. Once you have a weapon, hold Space while moving in the direction you want to attack; use the number keys to switch items.

You’re a treasure hunter exploring a collapsed mine, but bandits have raided the camp and stolen the equipment. Your immediate goal is to recover the weapons and dynamite needed to enter the mine. Move block by block, collect and use items, and attack enemies with your weapon. Snakes and bandits stand in the way, so be ready to deal with both as you make progress.

Made for the CGA Jam

Eigen Lenk developed the game for the 2017 CGA Jam. The original plan called for more content and a larger map, but severe time constraints led to a smaller adventure. Its compact action-adventure format brings together tile-by-tile exploration, item handling, and direct combat.
