g(Math) is a powerful add-on for Google Docs that lets you create and insert complex mathematical equations and graphs into your document, offering a strong alternative to the built-in tools.
A more capable equation editor
The utility is more powerful and easier to use than the option built into Google Docs, thanks to a left sidebar that makes it simple to create equations and graphs more complex than ever.
You can also plot graphs by inserting mathematical functions such as 4x-3<12.
Getting started with g(Math)
Once you download the add-on from its official page, you'll need to accept the permissions for it to be added to your Google Docs documents. Then go to "Add-ons", select "g(Math)", and from its menu choose between creating graphs, math expressions (with your voice), statistics, or creating an equation by hand.
In the left sidebar, you'll also find the "Create math expressions" option, which lets you use your computer's microphone to dictate equations.
You just need to set your language and location and start dictating. In our tests with Spanish, it didn't work well and recognized Spanish words as English.
Final thoughts
As you can see, this add-on is a great option for inserting statistics, graphs, and math equations, both manually and using templates. Although the voice mode didn't work well, the other options responded wonderfully.
