Google said it began rolling out Immersive Explorations in the Gemini Student Hub on October 28, 2026. The feature turns topics into guided visual explanations, with labels users can tap to explore more detail. English is one of the six supported experience languages, according to Google’s announcement.

How the visual explanations work

Immersive Explorations is a library in the Gemini app where users move through visual layers of a topic by tapping labels. Google’s examples include Silk Road trade routes, jet engines, lightning, microscopic systems, and deep space.

Google’s Gemini account also described the interactive layers and named examples such as the Silk Road, a jet engine, and lightning:

Supported languages and access

Google lists six supported experience languages: English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Simplified Chinese. For other language settings, Google said the experience is in English. English is therefore among the supported languages for this edition’s readers.

Google’s announced route is the Gemini Student Hub, where users can select “Try immersive explorations.” Digital Trends reported availability on web and mobile, including for personal Google accounts, Google Workspace customers, and Workspace Individual subscribers.

What Google plans to add

Google described direct access from Gemini conversations and audio narration as future additions to Immersive Explorations.
