GoPro VR Player is a video player for watching 360-degree videos, so if you don't have a virtual reality device, the platform lets you enjoy the experience of watching 360-degree videos on your computer.
Unlike Windows Media Player, this player gives you the option to interact with the video using the mouse buttons and the scroll wheel.
Once you download the program from its official page, you'll see its simple interface that lets you drag or open media files.
The video plays with standard visualization, but during playback you'll need to use the mouse for zoom, allowing you to zoom in and out (with the wheel) or drag the video to see more of the frame to the right or left and enjoy all 360 degrees.
From the preferences you can adjust the projection to fisheye mode, in 3D, or split the screen in different ways. You can also modify frames per second, decoding, and remove the touch screen.
The player is truly a great option for watching 360-degree or 3D videos and being able to manipulate the projection. It's also a fun way to enjoy videos and see them differently with its fisheye output.
GoPro VR Player is a free program available for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
