A new RPG adventure is on its way, with a hidden story and a radical economic focus: digital currency. Meet Hammercoin, a video game that rewards you with bitcoins.
In this epic RPG, you explore the desert lands of Khan, a harsh world of endless wastes, deadly quicksand, and terrors hidden underground. Life is scarce, nature is merciless, and terrible beasts constantly emerge from caves where a mysterious force drains the energy of the land. Your mission is to uncover the secret intentions of this mystic power and learn the untold history of Khan.
A Game Economy Built on Bitcoins
What makes Hammercoin stand out is that it's a video game that pays you in bitcoins instead of dollars or in-game credits. This radical economic approach rewards you with bitcoins as you explore the environments, fight enemies, and collect special items. If successful, it will create a market for tradable and collectible objects inside the game.

Hammercoin's approach opens up a new way to build game economies with more freedom to exchange or transfer game funds.
Early Access and Release
The game is currently in the early stages of beta development, but you can already purchase the Early Access edition for $10, play it before anyone else, and get access to all future versions. Hammercoin is being developed by MEGO Games and will be available on Windows, Linux, and Mac. The game doesn't have a concrete release date yet, but it's expected to arrive on Steam in February 2017.
