With Zipadee you can edit the text content of a ZIP file without needing to unzip it. This action is very useful when a ZIP contains a large number of files (besides texts) and you only need to change part of the text stored in a TXT file.

To edit the text of a ZIP file without decompressing it, simply go to the Zipadee page (no registration needed) and click the “CHOOSE A FILE” button to add the compressed file. Almost automatically, the platform will list in the left bar all the files in the ZIP (EXE, PNG, TXT, DOCX, MP4, MP3, etc.).
Now, just select the TXT file and on the right side you will see the text displayed in an editor, which you can edit to your liking.
When you have finished editing the text, simply click the “SAVE UPDATED FILE” button, located at the top right. The button appears when you update the text.
