When we watch television and change channels, or the show goes to ads, in many cases the variations in sound are huge and we end up grabbing the remote to lower or raise the volume all the time. For that reason, we would be very satisfied if there existed a device that sets the sound parameters automatically. The same happens with YouTube: the sound difference between videos is very big. That is why we are going to introduce you to SoundFixer, a Firefox extension for solving sound problems in YouTube videos.
The add-on adds additional sliders to the Gain and Pan parameters that you can use to solve sound problems quickly and easily. Now those videos with volumes so low or so high will no longer be a problem!
Once the add-on is installed in your Firefox browser, you will see it in the toolbar. At this point, you will need to go to a video on YouTube and click on the extension icon so that the Gain and Pan sliders are displayed.
The tool's operation is really good, because you will find the perfect volume point for each video. The only drawback we found on the platform is that it does not remember the volume parameters of the videos if we refresh the tab. We have used the add-on on Vimeo and other broadcasting pages and it has worked in all cases.
SoundFixer is a very good add-on for Firefox to control the volume of YouTube videos and various broadcasting platforms. You will no longer have to go to the operating system volume controls!
