More than once you have come across a video with very low volume and it is hard to listen to it. One of the simplest solutions is provided by the audio players themselves, such as VLC Media Player. They allow you to increase the audio beyond 100%. The problem there, however, is that when amplifying the sound wave, the audio comes out distorted. For this reason, we are going to teach you a very simple procedure to increase the volume of the video without distorting it.
The program we will use is BS FAG which offers a very good solution to improve the low volume of a video. The novelty of the program is its waveform distortion tool, which increases the volume without distorting it.
How to increase the volume of a video with BS FAG?
Once you have installed BS FAG on your computer, you will see the simple interface of the platform. At the top, you will find a menu in the form of modules. From the Add option, you will incorporate one or more videos.
After adding the video, you will have to click on the Options button to open a pop-up window. From there, you can change the volume options. You will have the default option that sets the volume level to 89 dB, but you also have the manual option to raise the volume gain according to your preferences.
Note: It is possible that in the Configurable option you have to try several custom dB values to find the right balance between smoothness and distortion.
When you finish, you just have to mark the video you want to increase the volume and click on the Process button. At this moment, the platform will start the process (it will take a few seconds). When the environment finishes, it will replace the original (the low volume one) with the processed video. If you want to save the new video as a copy instead of overwriting the original file, you can configure it from Options.
The utility not only gives you a processed video file, it also provides information: in the Gain section it shows you the amount of volume increase that was added to the video.
BS FAG is a very good program to increase the volume of videos without distorting it. This means that you can add a large amount of gain without the audio becoming noisy. The rest of the tools in the environment are also very good and serve to smooth audios with background noise.
