Huawei’s China purchase guide lists five phones in the Huawei Mate 90 lineup: Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition and Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design. It scheduled first sales for 12:08 on October 1, 2026. NeoTeo’s earlier coverage of the Mate 90 lineup and China sales focused on four models.
What distinguishes each Mate 90 model
Reported specifications show the clearest differences in screen size, telephoto cameras and connectivity. Huawei’s guide calls the special Pro Max version the Collector’s Edition.

The Pro and higher models are also reported to reach a peak brightness of 12,000 nits at 1% APL—a measurement condition covering a small portion of the display. That figure is not a full-screen brightness claim.

The Ruiying Z10 works with two Mate 90 models
Huawei names the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition and Mate 90 RS as compatible with the Ruiying Z10. The camera module has a 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor, 50MP effective resolution and a 24–240mm 35mm-equivalent focal-length range. It weighs approximately 346g, making it a substantial add-on rather than a minor phone accessory.
