With Icograms you can easily create 3D isometric maps. This online platform lets you build maps by simply dragging and dropping elements (grass, sand, beach, river, etc.) and landscape objects (houses, rocks, trees, vehicles, roads, bridges, people, furniture, and more) onto the work area.

How to create 3D isometric maps with Icograms?
When you go to the web page, on the left you’ll see all the elements and landscape objects you can use. On the right, you’ll find the work area with a 3D point grid.
The first thing you need to insert is a background (floor/base) for your map, and then you can start adding objects and elements. In our test we created “Neoteoland” and adding both objects and elements is really simple. For example, when building a road, joining the blocks is easy: placing a new block on an existing one automatically connects them. Both elements and objects can be scaled and edited after being inserted.
If you want to go further with your design, at the top you’ll find tools to move objects forward and backward, scale objects, clone objects in different directions, copy, etc. For a fully customized construction, the environment lets you build your design brick by brick, with pieces of land, bricks, water, and forests, among many other elements.
Once you’re done, the tool lets you download the isometric map as an image (SVG, PNG, or JPEG). You can also save the design on their server to edit it again at any time. Icograms is a powerful online tool for creating 3D isometric maps that works perfectly in all web browsers.
The free plan has several limitations, such as not being able to export to SVG, resulting maps cannot be sold, and they come with a watermark of the service. Commercial plans, which lift all these restrictions, start at $19. However, if you just need something simple for your website or business, the free plan should be enough.
