Editorial report
Infinix Hot 12 6 GB / 128 GB / International technical sheet
The Infinix Hot 12 suits buyers looking for an Android phone with a large display and a typically sized battery; the trade-off is performance and camera specifications that fall below most phones of its time.
Its 6.82-inch IPS LCD display refreshes at 90 Hz, but its 259 ppi pixel density is among the weakest of its time, and 500 nits peak brightness is lower than on most phones launched around then. At 8.3 mm thick, the body is thinner than most phones of its time. The configuration shown pairs 6 GB of RAM and expandable 128 GB storage with a MediaTek Helio G85. Its AnTuTu result of 225,154 is below that of most phones launched around the same time.
A 13 MP wide camera is joined by a 2 MP depth camera and an 8 MP front camera. The wide camera's 13 MP resolution is lower than that of most phones of its time. The 5,000 mAh battery and 18 W charging are typical figures. Other practical features include USB Type-C, dual Nano-SIM, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and stereo speakers.
With an overall NeoScore of 4.3, the Hot 12 is a straightforward option for buyers who value a large display and wired connections, and can accept modest pixel density, performance, and camera resolution compared with phones launched around the same time.
