A Studio of Industry Veterans
Telepaths Tree is a studio founded in 2014, composed of industry veterans who have worked on many acclaimed titles such as Bulletstorm, Painkiller, Gears of War, Dying Light and The Witcher 3. Currently, the studio is putting the final touches on Inner Chains, an action-horror FPS set in an unprecedented surrealist world. The player's objective is to understand and unravel the mysteries of the mystical world while overcoming many dangers created by the biomechanical environment. In this dark and deadly world, humanity is only a small part of a hostile universe trying to survive.
A Symbiosis of Nature and Technology
The world of Inner Chains no longer resembles the one we know. Without human interference, nature has adapted to the new conditions, reclaiming the territory it had lost because of man. In its search for perfection, it began to assimilate with abandoned technology, giving rise to biomechanical beings. But human-made technology has also changed, as it tried to adapt to the new environment. A strong symbiosis soon developed between technology and nature, and it became difficult to determine what is alive and what is mechanical.
The Mission and Release Details
This is where the protagonist comes into play, who must reach a mythical place called the Last Hope in order to leave this dying planet for good. The adventure will take you through various habitats, from ruins located high in the mountains, through dangerous forests where flora and fauna are mortal enemies, to the great temples built by a mysterious caste, whose existence and goals hide many secrets you can use to your advantage. Due to its content, this game will only be suitable for people over eighteen years old. Inner Chains is being developed by Telepaths Tree and will be available on Windows from April 20, 2017. It will also come out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but for the moment the game does not have a concrete release date on consoles.
