Apple began testing iOS 27.3 beta 1 for developers on November 3, 2026. Reports describe the redesigned Health app returning in the beta, alongside Safari changes and expanded Siri AI actions.
What iOS 27.3 beta 1 changes
The reported changes center on Health, Safari and Siri. MacRumors and AppleInsider describe the Health redesign in the beta, as well as Safari’s new Vertical Tabs layout and Adaptive Dark Mode. The Siri changes include more actions in Apple apps and four additional languages.
The redesigned Health app returns to testing
The redesigned Health app has appeared in earlier beta testing, and reports say it is back in iOS 27.3 beta 1. Its Insights tab gathers recent health information, including activity, heart rate, sleep and vital signs. Longevity groups information into seven areas: heart health, sleep, mental well-being, movement, metabolic health, hearing and nutrition. It also includes a Health Age comparison with a person’s actual age.
The reports describe the redesign’s return to beta, not a final release. AppleInsider says Apple has not specified which final iOS version will include it.
Safari’s new tabs and dark appearance
Safari’s reported Vertical Tabs layout places tabs in a sidebar. Adaptive Dark Mode can apply a dark appearance to websites that do not have one of their own. AppleInsider reports that website developers can block the feature.
Siri AI adds app actions and four languages
Reports describe Siri AI actions for Apple apps, including managing Safari tabs and history, creating Apple Music playlists and making Calendar events. The beta also reportedly adds Traditional Chinese, Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese.
App Intents is a separate Developer Preview for developers who want to connect app actions with Siri AI. A preview for developers does not mean those integrations are generally available to users.
Applesfera reports that Siri AI remains unavailable in the European Union. That report concerns Siri AI; it does not describe the availability of every iOS 27.3 beta feature.
