Iperius Backup is an application with which you can create compressed backups of files and folders either locally or from NAS devices, RDX, external hard drives, and computers on your network. If you want to take the tool further and purchase a commercial license, you can back up LTO and DAT tape units, databases, FTP servers, or documents stored in the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive).
When it comes to restoring a backup, you can do it in ZIP format. With commercial licenses, you can restore databases (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server), Windows Drive images, cloud data (Dropbox, Google Drive), and access data via FTP.
Backup Types and Interface
At the top you'll find four tabs: Home, Restore, Tools, and About, from which all the platform's options unfold. The utility lets you create full, incremental, and differential backups. These backups can be scheduled (day and time) or performed automatically. (In all cases you can exclude files or folders.)
The most important thing about the application is that it has no size limits on backups, and heavy copies don't affect the tool's performance or the backup data. It's a very reliable platform for personal or corporate backups. So if you need a tool to back up and recover data, both versions of the utility are excellent options.
