Open since 2015, Kawaii Monster Cafe is a cafe/restaurant located in Harajuku, a famous district in Tokyo. Its creator, artist Sebastian Masuda, is known for creating colorful and unique worlds (he worked as visual director on the music video “Pon Pon Pon” by singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu).
This unusual restaurant is open to the whole family during the day, but also transforms into a burlesque cabaret at night. In fact, the interior of the cafe represents the stomach of the monster “Mr. Ten Thousand Chopsticks”, better known as Choppy, whom you can see in the images accompanied by the hostesses, the “Monster Girl”, along with delicious foods.
So now you know, if you plan to travel to Japan, don't hesitate to visit Kawaii Monster Cafe, the cutest cafe in Tokyo. For now, and to add some color to our days, here is a little of what you can find. It really looks delicious and cozy!
