LocalSend will assign an alias to each device (this makes identification easy), and to be honest, it doesn't need anything else. Its functions are divided into just three categories: Receive, Send, and Settings. To receive files, it's enough to stay there and grant authorization when files arrive. The Send section enables options for transferring files, texts, or entire directories, and sending to multiple devices simultaneously.

Received files are saved to 'Downloads' by default

The Settings menu presents values that modify the program's behavior (colors, languages, auto-start, etc.), a field called Receive to activate quick save and change the destination path of files (Downloads by default on Windows), and network parameters that generally don't need to be edited (unless you want another alias on your device).
