Lympo Squat: Earn Cryptocurrency by Exercising
Lympo Squat

Getting into the noisy and volatile world of cryptocurrencies has always meant making a small investment in a coin you believe has potential. But there are other ways to earn crypto without the disappointment of mining. One of them is… exercising. The folks at Lympo Squat promise micropayments in the Lympo cryptocurrency in exchange for squats. You won't become a millionaire with this, but at least it should be fun and healthy.

The State of Cryptocurrency

The collapse of cryptocurrencies is undeniable. Bitcoin lost almost half of its value in two months, and except for a few isolated cases, the rest of the crypto universe did nothing but follow the trend. Many new cryptocurrencies bit the dust in the last year, mining has stopped being a viable option for a large portion of users (which in turn flooded the market with used graphics cards), and doubts about the future are too great to speculate. Maybe it's time for cryptocurrencies to take on a new role. How about small rewards?

How Lympo Squat Works

Squats, to be more precise. Once installed on an iOS or Android compatible phone, Lympo Squat introduces Kat, a kind of virtual personal trainer who accompanies you through the exercise. The app and its artificial intelligence need access to the phone's camera to detect your squats, and if all goes well, it will award three Lympo tokens (LYM) for every group of 15. Lympo Squat also includes a series of challenges (say, 15 squats in 30 seconds), but there's no special recognition for doing them with weights (that's left to each user's taste and ability). In other words, do normal squats and don't rush. The idea is to get a little physical activity, not to end up injured from a badly done squat.

Earning Potential

Now, how much money are we talking about? To be honest, not much. Each Lympo is worth $0.006 at the time of writing. That means the group of 15 squats has a value of less than two cents. Additionally, our companion Kat “gets tired” and needs a 10-minute cooldown before continuing (I imagine it's to prevent cheating). The minimum amount of LYM transferable to the wallet is 1,000 coins… that is, six dollars for 5,000 squats, and doing 30 a day will take you almost half a year. Better start now!

(Editor's note: As always, don't hesitate to consult a health professional before adopting an intense exercise routine.)
