Sudoku is a true passion for millions of players, the ideal distraction for an even larger number, and a productivity killer par excellence. The modern version of Sudoku has been around for over four decades and has found a privileged place among mobile devices. One of the most attractive is Material Sudoku, developed by Jamie McDonald. Without fear of exaggerating, I dare to say it is the best ad-free Sudoku for Android… and I think you'll agree.

That's right: Material Sudoku is divided into four difficulty levels, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme, each with a total of 400 Sudoku so you can swim in an ocean of numbers and your brain melts. Logically, the app has a timer to play against the clock, hints in case you get stuck (though nothing stops you from cheating), and instant feedback if you make a mistake, but you can activate and deactivate all that in its settings menu, where you can also force dark mode.
Some of the Sudoku seem to have certain consistency details (in other words, there are very difficult easy ones, and easy hard ones), but the overall experience is excellent. As if that weren't enough, you can follow the list one by one, or tap the die icon and let the app randomly select a Sudoku.
