Microsoft and NVIDIA announced Frontier Launchpad on November 3, 2026, as a support program for software companies in the United Kingdom and Ireland that already have a product available to customers and are investing in AI or building AI products. The United States is outside the program’s stated applicant geography.

Who can apply to Frontier Launchpad?

The program is aimed at software companies seeking to grow or expand into new markets. Microsoft and NVIDIA said places are limited, with selection focused on growth potential, clear AI plans and a commitment to developing software.

What support does the program offer?

The announced support includes access to Microsoft AI specialists, cloud architects and Microsoft Marketplace advisers, as well as NVIDIA technical experts. NVIDIA Inception is named as a source of startup resources, and the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute as a source of AI training.

The commercial guidance covers preparing products for Microsoft Marketplace and co-selling with Microsoft, meaning joint selling efforts. Participants may also explore Microsoft’s international partner, customer and commercial networks.

Two pathways, with no promised funding or sales

Frontier Launchpad has two pathways: AI platforms and software built around AI, and financial services and financial technology. Its announced offer consists of advice, training, access and commercial opportunities. The announcement does not promise grants, investment, customer contracts, sales or Marketplace placement.

The announced application schedule

Microsoft and NVIDIA said applications opened on November 3, 2026, and gave November 27, 2026, as the closing date. The first group was expected to begin in early 2027.
