CLARC
Originally developed for the Ouya, CLARC had an excellent adaptation to mobile devices. In this game you control a small worker robot that must pick up and place boxes on switches to solve various puzzles across a series of mazes to rescue his friends. It has solid gameplay with an isometric, grid-based view and fast-paced arcade elements. It features comic-style visuals thanks to cel-shading, letting you appreciate scenarios ranging from a chaotic factory and the surface of Mars to the inside of an enemy spaceship as you advance through plenty of obstacles and carefully designed action areas. Developed by GoldenTricycle, CLARC is available on iOS and Android.
Shin Megami Tensei
Shin Megami Tensei: Released in 1992 for the Super Famicom in Japan, Shin Megami Tensei has long been a dream for JRPG fans in the rest of the world. The game never received an official English translation until this mobile adaptation finally arrived. The story takes place in Tokyo when a mysterious murder leads to the appearance of demons and a global conflict, forcing your team to ally and fight the demons to save the world. This title features more than fifty hours of gameplay. If you ever wanted to play this title, this is an excellent opportunity. Note that the Android version is in Japanese. Star Horizon
If you're looking for a good space shooter, Star Horizon lives up to its genre. John is a combat pilot associated with the Federation in a fight to take down the Rebels. Your ship is controlled by AI Ellie (which conveniently takes navigation out of your hands - you can dodge around the screen but you're effectively tied to moving on rails -) and your role is to carry out missions that will cripple the Rebels' resources. It's fun, being an exciting game, and it looks great, with a fascinating story for the genre.
