Mobile Games of the Week (11/18/15)
Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle

Alphabear (Free Game)

Alphabear is a puzzle game in which you write words to get bears that have special abilities to increase your score. You spell words by selecting letters on a grid. Each level has a certain number of letters with which you must form words; the longer the word, the higher your score. The difficulty lies in the fact that each letter is available for a limited time, with a countdown that, if it reaches zero, makes you lose the chance to use it. As you progress, the bears grow and move up in the level (fun fact: many of the bears belong to the game Triple Town). Developed by Spry Fox, Alphabear is available on iOS and Android.

Cat Words (Free Game)

Another ridiculously fun word game, but this time with kittens. In Cat Words you have to discover the words in the grid. Just like in crosswords, this game asks you to find a single word with all the letters in the grid. There are several game modes with hundreds and hundreds of words to discover. A very addictive game with many levels to play, lots of words to find, and plenty of kittens to keep you company in this frantic word game. What are you waiting for? Developed by Alastaria, Cat Words is available on Android and coming soon to iOS.

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle (Free Game)

Goku and his friends arrive on mobile devices with Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle. Create your own team of fighters in card form. The game includes most of the characters that appeared throughout the anime's history (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT) with their respective transformations (including the most recent ones seen in Resurrection of F), as well as fighters from the game Xenoverse. The main mode unfolds in events and missions on a kind of board similar to the adventure mode of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2. During battles, you can activate Dokkan Mode by pressing a sequence of buttons to unleash your characters' most powerful techniques. Developed by Namco Bandai, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is available on iOS and Android.

Monster Streaking (Free Game)

A game about monsters running naked through a quiet American town. Yes, you read that right. Because in Monster Streaking it's Halloween night, and classic monsters like Count Dracula, the Werewolf, and the Mummy run naked through the streets while a crowd of people goes out to hunt them. Run as far as you can while avoiding old women and men who throw themselves at you, or cyclists who kick you. The farther you get, the more monsters you unlock. A very addictive game to play at any time. Developed by Beavl, Monster Streaking is available on iOS and Android.

Rival Kingdoms (Free Game)

Unleash the power of the Ancient Gods in a battle to save humanity. Rival Kingdoms is a real-time strategy game that takes place in the kingdom of Estara. As you explore this ancient land, you can join the fight in a solo or multiplayer war. Team up with other players to form an ever-expanding kingdom, unlock new and powerful warriors, and finally prepare to go to war. The solo campaign puts you in a resistance group fighting against the Ruin in an incredible, epic story. Developed by Space Ape Games, Rival Kingdoms is available on iOS and Android.

This week's lineup: Alphabear, Cat Words, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, Monster Streaking, and Rival Kingdoms.
