Mobile games are already here, ready to entertain you, whether you like it or not. Games as strange as A Dark Room, a text-based adventure in which you'll explore a world; Dragon Quest, a classic RPG, and Back to Bed, a great puzzle game.
A Dark Room
A Dark Room: A text-based adventure and RPG, with a fascinating mystery that will keep you hooked. Originally published in mid-2013 for web browsers by Michael Townsend. Soon after, Townsend was contacted by developer Amir Rajan, who asked for permission to adapt the game to mobile devices. A Dark Room begins with your character waking up in a dark room, without knowing how they got there. As you progress in the game, your character will gain skills to gather resources, interact with strangers, start a town and explore the world. What follows is a strange hybrid, part mystery story and part text adventure that will take you to explore a huge world. Developed by Amirali Rajan, A Dark Room is available on iOS and Android.
Almightree: The Last Dreamer
Almightree: The Last Dreamer: Crescent Moon, as usual, develops high-quality games. And Almightree: The Last Dreamer is no exception; a game that seems inspired by both Bastion and The Legend of Zelda. The story tells us that the world is falling apart and, as the last dreamer, your job is to restore power to the trees of Almrytree, saving the world from destruction. Each level takes the form of puzzles, where you have to explore a fragile scenario to find the tree. Part of its power involves moving parts of the world: you can transport blocks to build bridges and paths, while the game gradually increases the difficulty so that the way you place blocks makes you think more and more. Developed by Chocoarts, Almightree: The Last Dreamer is available exclusively on iOS.
Back to Bed
Originally funded by Kickstarter, Back to Bed is a game about sleepwalking that is appropriately inspired by the dreamlike sensibility of surrealist art. While Bob walks through his own dream, you, as his subconscious guardian, Subob, must guide him away from danger toward the safety of his bed by subverting his path (you know, placing obstacles to get him out of danger). In addition, the game's trailer is an impressive nod to the classic cult series Twin Peaks. Developed by Bedtime Digital Games, Back to Bed is available on iOS and Android.
Dragon Quest
The game that started the legend of Dragon Quest. Enter a fantastic world of swords, magic and monsters that has earned its place in role-playing games. Travel to the kingdom of Alefgard where peace has come to an end after the appearance of an evil lord of darkness known as Dragonlord, who has stolen the sphere of light that had until now kept the forces of evil at bay. Now you, a young warrior with the blood of the legendary hero Erdrick flowing through your veins, will have to embark on a mission to defeat Dragonlord and save the kingdom from darkness. Developed by Square Enix, Dragon Quest is available on iOS and Android.
The Revenge of Shinobi
The Revenge of Shinobi (Free game): They killed your master and kidnapped your girlfriend, so you must travel the world and take down the crime syndicate. Master ninjutsu techniques and get mystical power-ups while you fight in this retro ninja classic. The Revenge of Shinobi is a classic Sega side-scrolling game where you play as Joe Musashi, a ninja seeking revenge against the evil criminal organization Neo Zeed. Don't forget to play the classics from the Sega Forever line: Altered Beast, Comix Zone, Kid Chameleon, Phantasy Star II and Sonic the Hedgehog. Developed by Sega, The Revenge of Shinobi is available on iOS and Android.
