Mobile Pixels describes Prisma as a proposed 40-inch curved monitor for a Mac mini workstation, with a 5120 × 2160 display and integrated dock features. Its Kickstarter campaign says testing of the display, connectivity, thermals, storage, charging and compatibility remains before mass production.
What Mobile Pixels proposes for a Mac mini desk
The campaign lists an LG IPS Black panel, a 120 Hz refresh rate, quasi-10-bit color and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage. These are Mobile Pixels’ proposed specifications for Prisma.
The monitor is also designed to combine several desk accessories. Mobile Pixels lists USB-C, USB-A and USB-B connections, SD and microSD card readers, an M.2 SSD slot, a 15 W wireless charging pad and an active cooling fan. Its KVM function is intended to let two computers share peripherals, while Picture-by-Picture can display both computers’ outputs at once.
A built-in cradle is designed for Mac mini and Mac Studio. The campaign also describes a retractable iPhone mount for Continuity Camera, Center Stage and Desk View. Mobile Pixels says Prisma can connect to MacBooks, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Windows laptops and desktop PCs through standard display connections.
Testing and production risks Mobile Pixels identifies
Mobile Pixels says it plans further testing of display performance, connectivity, thermals, storage, charging and compatibility before mass production. The campaign also identifies production, component, certification, logistics and scheduling risks. If testing finds an issue, the company says the schedule or final specifications could change.
Kickstarter’s deadline and reward terms
On October 26, 2026, Kickstarter listed the campaign as live, with a funding deadline of November 15, 2026, at 3:03 p.m. UTC. The official Prisma campaign states that rewards are not guaranteed.
