MOBZPing is a platform for monitoring the ping of several hosts at the same time and doing so continuously across servers. This way you can see the ping status of multiple hosts in real time and receive desktop notifications when a server disconnects.
The program is very useful for checking whether any device connected to your network is experiencing problems or disconnects.
A simple, graphical interface
Once you download the program from its official website, you will see its simple and graphical interface, which shows you the host's ping status using bars of different colors.
The green bars represent successful ping operations, while the red bars indicate that the environment has not received data from that host at that moment (an unsuccessful ping operation).
If you want to get more information about the ping round-trip time, simply place the mouse cursor over the bar, whether it is green or red, and the time of the ping operation will be shown in the lower-left part of the program's interface.
If a server disconnects, the environment will alert you with a pop-up notification from your computer's taskbar.
Manage several servers at the same time
But the tool also lets you manage several servers, so you can monitor more than one host, stop the process of one of them, or delete a server, all without affecting the others.
Hosts are added manually, and you can specify their DNS names or IP addresses. To insert them, type or copy the domain name or IP address and then click the "+" button. After this action, the platform will start analyzing the specified host and you will see the ping status in real time, displayed graphically on its interface.
Our tests and final thoughts
In our tests everything worked perfectly; we only missed a notification manager and an option to import a host's ping data. That would be very useful for people who have a long list of hosts being analyzed for ping.
We really recommend this tool for monitoring the ping of several devices, since you can manage each device independently.
